South Granville refers mostly to the shopping area of Granville Street between the Granville Bridge and West 16th Avenue, though it can also encompass the nearby residences.

Sometimes known as Gallery Row for the number of art galleries along this strip, South Granville is also home to restaurants, shops, and the historic Stanley Theatre.
